Each Bachpad is proudly designed, engineered and pre-built in New Zealand. We take no shortcuts. We make sure each model is built with maximal liveability and longevity in mind.

Construction
Pinus Radiata timber with a minimum H1.2 durability is used to frame each Bachpad, with pre-nail wall frames and roof trusses providing guaranteed support.
Cladding
COLORSTEEL® Maxx profiled metal exterior wall cladding is used over a timber cavity system.
Joinery
Floor-to-ceiling Altus Smartfit, low-emission, double glazed aluminium joinery brings the home together securely.
Roof
A Monopitch roof is paired with COLORSTEEL® Maxx profiled metal roof cladding, complementing the exterior wall cladding.
The roof also comes equipped with external box gutter and metal downpipes to match.
Kitchen
Designed with style and functionality in mind, the kitchen boasts:
A Formica high-pressure laminate bench-top
Pre-finished Melteca cabinetry with built in handles
A designer single-bowl sink with Phoenix tapware
A Seratone splashback.
It also includes a Fisher & Paykel appliance package, complete with a ceramic two-zone electric cooktop, a compact nine function oven, an integrated range hood and generously-sized fridge/freezer.
The kitchen cabinetry is also designed to include space for a washing machine/dryer (appliance not included).
Bathroom
The bathroom has been designed by the team at Urban Lounge with quality fixtures and fittings including a 1200x900mm acrylic base safety glass shower, designer basin and in-wall dual flush toilet.
It also includes Phoenix tapware, a recessed mirror cabinet, towel rail, roll holder and an extractor fan.
Screens
Each Bachpad sports a timber batten rainscreens over external cladding.
Powder-coated Flaxpod steel mesh shutters are incorporated with steel subframes
Insulation
Supreme comfort is achieved through home-wide insulation:
Earthwool R2.4 wall insulation and R2.9 roof insulation
Expol R1.4 underfloor polystyrene insulation
Interiors
The Bachpad’s modern, stylish aesthetic is achieved through included interior design packages from the team at Urban Lounge. There are three colourway themes to choose from:

The following inclusions add contemporary design touches and functionality to the home:
Internal walls lined with GIB stopped with paint finish, GIB Aqualine to wet areas.
Ceilings lined with GIB with square-stopped wall ceiling junctions and paint finish.
Full height solid-core flush internal pocket sliding doors
A freestanding full-height storage unit.
Designer vinyl flooring
Services
Each Bachpad is brought to life with the key services and amenities you’d expect in a full-size home, including:
LED light fittings including recessed ceiling downlights and feature LED strip lighting around the cabinetry in the kitchen and bathroom mirror.
Fully wired and ready to “plug in” on-site, including an electrical mains smart meter, switchboard and main communications electrical hub.
Power and telecommunication sockets, TV outlets and a battery powered smoke alarm.
Fully plumbed waste-water ready to connect on site.
